February Drift

This month our drift will focus on the theme of 'everyday romance' and we will see if we can spot signs of romance, love and friendship in unlikely places. Feel free to bring a camera or sketchbook if you would like. A drift is an activity taken from the Situationist International movement, as a way of walking and exploring a space without using a planned route or typical directions. We will wander, meander and amble through the city, without a specific walk leader or end goal in mind, simply walking however the group decides. This practice is a great way to explore a new place, notice new things about a well-known area, get some fresh air and socialise in a relaxed setting.
